SI Joint Pain
The sacroiliac joints connect the spine to the pelvis and play an important role in transferring forces between the upper and lower body. When these joints become irritated or restricted, they can contribute to discomfort throughout the lower back, hips, buttocks, and legs.
SI joint dysfunction may result from injury, repetitive stress, pregnancy-related changes, or biomechanical imbalances affecting movement and stability.
Symptoms vary from person to person but often include localized pain, stiffness, difficulty standing for extended periods, and discomfort during walking or transitional movements.
Our chiropractic approach focuses on improving joint mobility, supporting healthy movement patterns, and helping patients return to daily activities with less discomfort and greater confidence.

To assist in targeting the same regions contributing to your pain, our therapists employ a variety of treatments, such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.
Therapeutic Exercises
Therapeutic exercise is frequently included in our SI joint pain treatment regimens since it may assist in strengthening the muscles that support the SI joint and improve your general stability and flexibility. Our chiropractors will work with you to create a tailored exercise program that addresses your specific requirements and objectives and will guide you through a series of exercises that will help you increase your strength and flexibility over time.
Deep Tissue Laser Therapy
We use deep-tissue laser to accelerate healing. This treatment employs low-level lasers to penetrate deep into the tissue, boosting blood flow, lowering inflammation, and aiding in pain relief. The treatment is non-invasive, safe, and effective and significantly reduces pain in many people suffering from SI joint discomfort.

Dr South is very professional and sincerely cares about his patients. He has eliminated my migraines and continues to improve issues with my neck and back. I had an elderly dog who could hardly walk and I took him to the vet three times in two weeks. They gave me prescriptions that were not helping, then recommended a chiropractor. I was surprised they recommended Dr South, already my chiropractor! One visit and he was walking pretty normal. After the second visit he was running and playing like a puppy. We had another three years of quality life thanks to Dr South. I'm so grateful to have him in my life!

We believe in a natural, holistic approach to treating SI joint discomfort. We're dedicated to assisting you in finding pain relief and getting back to enjoying your life to the fullest. The sacroiliac (SI) joint is a crucial part of the human body since it connects the sacrum to the ilium in the pelvis. Despite its importance, sacroiliac joint discomfort is only one of several painful disorders that can affect this area. Understanding the root causes of SI joint discomfort is essential for developing an effective treatment strategy.
Traumatic Injury
Pain in the SI joint may result from trauma to the lower back or pelvis, which can cause damage to or misalignment of the joint. Injuries to the SI joint, such as those sustained in a fall or automobile crash, can cause significant discomfort. Seek immediate medical assistance if you have experienced a major accident and have pain in your SI joint.
Pregnancy
Weight gain, hormonal shifts, and more strain on the lower back and pelvis are just a few physical changes in a woman's body during pregnancy. The SI joint may become painful as a result of these alterations. The SI joint may experience discomfort due to the increased likelihood of pelvic girdle pain in pregnant women.
Arthritis
Arthritis is a painful joint ailment caused by inflammation. The SI joint is vulnerable to several arthritic conditions, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is essential to consult with a medical professional to figure out the best course of action if you have been diagnosed with arthritis and are having pain in your SI joint. Chiropractic care is an effective approach to managing arthritis symptoms.
Scoliosis
In scoliosis, an abnormal spine curvature to one side causes severe physical distress. Some people with scoliosis have discomfort in the SI joint because of the condition. If you have been diagnosed with scoliosis and are having discomfort in your SI joint, you must seek medical assistance and consult with your doctor to identify the most appropriate course of action.
Spinal Fusion
"Spinal Fusion" refers to a surgical operation fusing two or more vertebrae together. There may be pain and discomfort in the SI joint after spinal fusion surgery. If you've just had spinal fusion surgery and have SI joint discomfort, you must see your doctor about the best course of action.
